The full form of ADHD is Attention-deficit difficulty hyperactivity disorder. Its a chronic condition attention Difficulty, hyperactivity, and impulsiveness.

Basically it’s a behavioral condition that makes focusing on everyday requests and routines challenging. People with Attention-deficit difficulty hyperactivity typically have trouble getting organized, staying focused, making realistic plans and thinking before acting.

This issue begins in early childhood only and can persist into adulthood. It may contribute to low self-esteem, troubled relationships and difficulty at school or work.

How To Treat ADHD?

The treatment of Attention-deficit difficulty hyperactivity is done through two methods:-

  • Therapies
  • Cognitive-behavioral therapy(CBT)

This involves self-instructional training administered on a group or individual basis, to help an individual with ADHD to develop a more planned and reflective approach to thinking and behaving, including social interactions.

The stimulants are an effective way of managing Attention-deficit difficulty hyperactivity symptoms such as short attention span, impulsive behavior, and hyperactivity. They may be used alone or in combination with behavior therapy.

Some drugs normally taken for the high blood pressure may help in controlling symptoms of the disorder. They also can help lower some of the side effects of stimulant meds, especially Sleeplessness and aggressive behavior.
